BLOOM WITHIN X FLOW STUDIO
This isn’t just the season for flowers to bloom. In partnership with Flow Studio, we’ve embraced the calmness and tranquility of the farm, through u-pick and gentle movement.
Our First Bloom Within was on Summer Solstice, and I think that really set the tone of the season, for what we want our new farm to be. Our intention is for this farm to be a place of healing, hopefulness, inspiration and anything you need it to be. Bring what you have and take what you need, because we’re all in this together.
Starting in the Orchard
Tucked away in the middle of the apple orchard, surrounded by 85-100 year old apple trees, with our eyes closed, we listened to the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the leaves… some days we had light sprinkles of rain, others we were bathed in sunshine. Last month, we even had unexpected thunder and lightning, which definitely made it an adventure.
As we grounded ourselves, connecting with the soil and earth, we breathed in the light and love from nature and the community, and breathed out all the worries and stress we had. Whether it was through the gentle movement of yoga or the healing vibrations of a sound bath, we hope everyone was able to experience intentional restfulness and moments of tranquility.
“If we accept that sound is vibration, and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our body.” - Dr Mitchell Gaynor
Ending in the Secret Garden
To keep the healing journey going, every Bloom Within ended with u-pick in our Secret Garden. It was so lovely to see all the mini bouquets each person made, inspired by how they felt and what they saw around them. Everyone was able to take home a piece of our farm with them, a beautiful floral reminder in their living room or dining table that we’re never alone… that we’re all blooming within together.
Thank you Stephanie, Angel, Gail, Erin and Hillary from Flow Studio, for creating such peaceful experiences for us and the Pear Bloom Farm community to enjoy.
With love,
Yesenia
