YES, IT’S AN OBSESSION
Not sure what’s more exciting, the seeds or the flowers!
they’re seriously an obsession.
This year, I’m redesigning the flower field because I have a slightly different purpose in mind. I used to have two flower fields. One (the big one), was just for me. It had the biggest variety and best blooms. I harvested from this field to make bouquet arrangements, refill our flower bar, and create all the fun floral designs like flower crowns, floral globes, garlands, floral backdrops for photobooths, flower pens, even a floral disco ball that LIT UP! You name it, we probably made it.
The second small field was for you! It was for you to enjoy walking through and cutting from to make your own floral works of art. It had showstopper flowers and magnificent bloom colors that everyone got to enjoy. Even the littlest tots enjoyed walking through the garden, not minding that most stems were taller than them (it was absolutely ADORABLE).
Oh, it was a sight to see everyone enjoying the blooms just as much as we did, so this year, I decided to combine them both! This way, we get the best of both worlds and we can all embark on the joy and creativity together.
Dreams.
Hope.
Love.
Beauty.
It’s what we grow! At least, that’s what we’re striving for. Just thinking about the seeds and what they’re going to bloom into gets me so inspired. Some days (most days actually) I just dream about all the different ways we can all take pleasure in the blooms this season.
All the seeds have been sorted, alphabetized, and counted for. And now the fun begins….it’s time to get my hands dirty to start seeding!
With over 100 varieties, we have only the best for the best community.
FLOWER FIELD PREP
The day before this snowstorm, we started the flower field prep! We selected the PERFECT location and I literally cannot wait for you to see in person. with a view of Mt. Adams and rows on rows on rows of blooms, you know where you can find me most of this year!
It’s been a long and dark winter, so the second we noticed the first sign of spring, I literally had to slam on the breaks and stop my truck immediately. Yup… it was raining, but that didn’t stop me from cherishing this moment. Spring is coming and I’m ready for all it brings.
With love,
Yesenia
