BLOSSOM SEASON
It’s different every year, and no matter how much we plan, they always bloom on their time. We were crossing our fingers and toes that the pear trees would be blooming for our 3rd Annual Pear Bloom Run, and we were ecstatic to see they were in full bloom, perfect for runners of all ages to race through the orchards.
The last phase of the pear bloom season is “petal fall”, which literally means that all the blossom petals fall from the trees and float away in the wind. It’s almost as pretty as full bloom (Big Sigh!) Luckily, we planned a styled shoot with local wedding vendors, coordinated by Elody Rose Events before petal fall started.

The Pears & Apples
I know this is Pear Bloom Farm, but I have to rave about the heirloom apples for a minute. Pear blossoms don’t really have a strong scent so I was pleasantly surprised when our apple trees were at full bloom, because the sweet scent was intoxicating! It was the perfect setting for the Spring Market hosted by PNW Creative Events and Bloom Minis photographed by Pickles Photography and Christina Whittlesey.

The Flowers
Like the pear blooms, our Tulips are also slowly fading away, but the latest blooming varieties are in full bloom now. Meanwhile, we have been hard at work planting flower seedlings and seeding the U-Pick field. It took some time (per usual) for me to decide on the final design, but let me tell you… it’s perfect! EVERY corner is designed specifically for YOU to enjoy. We have more planting to do so goodbye for now!
With love,
