Packing Up and Moving Out!
It’s bitter sweet. It’s bitter because I’m taking down a piece of art I created. Sweet because I’m preparing to paint on a new one! The packing process continues.
After a peaceful Thanksgiving week we are back at it. We are trying to finish moving and wrapping up projects as much as possible before the snow hits. And in typical PNW fashion, the forecast changed from sunny one minute to incoming snowstorm. The farm team has been putting the farm to sleep and winterizing everything. The event team is getting ready for the holiday pop ups happening in the Gorge. And as for me… it’s prime time for boring, but important office projects (I won’t stress you out with the list). My non-paperwork “happy breaks” include distractions like the 2024 flower and workshop planning and I’m itching to dive right in!
VIP Pop Up
Thank you again to everyone that came out to our VIP Pop Up event. It was so nice to connect with you in person and to hear what your experience has been with Pear Bloom.
It’s always fascinating to see things through other lenses. I get so wrapped up seeing the world through my own eyes and busy doing all the things that I can forget to do this. Our current space has brought so much joy, brought back memories for some and created new beautiful ones for others, and made unexpected friendships.
It was absolutely magical to dream with you below the Upside Down Meadow. Taking a moment in the present to honor the past is important; it filled my heart with energy, excitement, hope and inspiration to dream about the future.
Thank you!
Photoshoots
In true Pear Bloom fashion, we just couldn’t say no to fun projects! In the final week before packing everything up, we snuck in a few photoshoots. Amy, from Pickles photography and VBO branding, beautifully captured so many different styled shoots under the upside down meadow. First, we had a maternity shoot. Then, the wonderful JDRE Team styled the most gorgeous office setting for mini branding sessions and our team photos. We also had a blast working with Tatum Picha, a wedding planner in the Gorge, creating not one, but TWO romantic dinner settings. AND Amy’s dad brought his new classic car! I can’t wait to show you all the beautiful photos! This will be a sneak peak of the farm experiences we plan to offer in the future. If you have a fun project, elopement or special occasion coming up, holla at us! We are all about the fun!
About Newtown Pippin Heirloom Apples
I made this recipe for Thanksgiving so I can safely say it’s a 5 star rating! We spent Thanksgiving on the Oregon Coast with my family this year. On our way out of town, we stopped by the farm and picked some of our Newtown Pippin apples. There is always fruit accidentally left behind during harvest. I can’t tell you how beautiful it was to have a pie made from our first apple harvest at our Thanksgiving table.
EVENTS:
I look forward to seeing you this holiday season! Stay tuned to learn about our winter projects :)
With Love,
